LONDON (ICIS)--European September dimethyl terephthalate (DMT) reference prices on Friday increased by €40/tonne ($53/tonne) from August in line with upstream paraxylene (PX) price movements.
September DMT settled at €767-808/tonne FD (free delivered) NWE (northwest ?xml:namespace>
The September PX contract price was agreed at €810/tonne FD NWE, up by €65/tonne from August.
August DMT prices dropped by €25/tonne from the July range of €752-793/tonne to settle at €727-768/tonne.
