LONDON (ICIS)--Three European fourth-quarter butadiene (BD) contracts have settled at €1,325/tonne ($1,767/tonne), down by €155/tonne, because of softening market fundamentals, a major producer said on Friday.
Two settlements were fully confirmed between the producer and two of its customers (both major consumers of butadiene in Europe).
Confirmation from a second supplier involved in the third settlement was also received.
The contracts were agreed on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis.
($1 = €0.75)
