HOUSTON (ICIS)--BP is restarting the ultra former unit at its Texas City refinery in Texas after a nearly three-week suspension of operations, the company said on Friday.
BP said in a filing with a Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) that it expected the unit to be back to normal operations by 27 September.
The ultra former is a component in gasoline production.
The company took the unit off line on 6 September after a compressor seal failed.
