CEPEA assessed anhydrous ethanol at Brazilian reais (R) 1.0844/litre ($2.40/gal), up by 3.9% from R1.0435/litre in the week ended 17 September.
Hydrous ethanol was assessed at R0.9120/litre, up by 4.7% from R0.8709/litre in the previous week, the group said.
Brazil blends anhydrous ethanol in gasoline at a mandated 25%, while hydrous ethanol is used as a stand-alone fuel.
CEPEA prices are ex-tank and do not include taxes.
