SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Ras Laffan Olefins Co (RLOC) may shut its 1.3m tonne/year ethane cracker in ?xml:namespace>
“We heard the cracker could be shut for a few weeks in October,” said one source.
Company officials were not immediately available for comment.
The cracker, which came on stream in March this year, is jointly owned by Q-Chem (53%) and Qatofin (46%), with Qatar Petroleum owning the remaining 1%.
