MOVES: Dow CEO Liveris elected president of ICCA

TORONTO (ICIS)--The International Council of Chemical Association (ICCA) has elected Dow Chemical CEO Andrew Liveris as president, it said on Friday.

The ICCA also elected as its secretary Cal Dooley, CEO of US chemical industry trade group American Chemistry Council (ACC), it said.

Liveris and Dooley were due to start their two-year terms on 1 January.

Liveris will succeed Solvay CEO Christian Jourquin as ICCA president while Dooley will succeed Hubert Mandery, director general of trade group European Chemical Industry Council (Cefic), as secretary.
