BUDAPEST (ICIS)--BASF is expecting to complete the long-awaited spin-off of its styrenics business, named Styrolution, by the end of 2010, sources close to the company said on Monday.
The spin-off company would include styrene and polystyrene outside of ?xml:namespace>

No clear partner has been defined, he added.
The name Styrolution was registered by BASF in June 2010.
A BASF spokesman said on the sidelines of the meeting that a spin-off or potential sale of the business could be made within the next two years, adding that it was in an improved financial position.
