SINGAPORE (ICIS)--South Korea's Yeochun Naphtha Cracking Center (YNCC) bought 800,000 tonnes of term naphtha for January to December 2011, market players said on Wednesday.
The cargoes fetched a discount of $4.50/tonne (€3.24/tonne) to Japan quotes CFR (cost and freight), they said.
YNCC, which operates three naphtha crackers in the country, is the largest ethylene producer in ?xml:namespace>
It runs a 857,000 tonnes/year No 1 cracker and a 578,000 tonnes/year No 2 cracker and a 465,000 tonnes/year No 3 naphtha at the site in Yeocheon.
