(ICIS)--The European October styrene customer reference price (CRP) was confirmed down €15/tonne on Friday at €990/tonne ($1,375/tonne) as the initial settlement received further support from players.
“We had two or three discussions and really wanted the full benzene saving. But we compromised and settled at half the benzene reduction,” confirmed a styrene buyer.
The October benzene contract dipped by €36/tonne to €667/tonne FOB (free on board) NWE (northwest ?xml:namespace>
The CRP was settled on a free carrier (FCA)
($1 = €0.72)
