China's Shanxi Xianyang methanol plant shut for maintenance

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Shanxi Xianyang's 600,000 tonne/year coal-based methanol unit in northwest China has been undergoing maintenance for about a month now, a company source said on Monday.

The plant was shut in early September, the source said, adding that the restart date for the facility has yet to be fixed.
