SAO PAULO (ICIS)--Brazil consumed 995,400 tonnes of chlorine from January through September, up 3.8% year over year, a trade group said on Friday.
Brazil’s domestic production of chlorine from January through September was 991,000 tonnes, also up 3.8% year over year, said Abiclor, Brazil's trade group for the chlor-alkali industry.
Total domestic sales increased 4.2% to 119,200 tonnes, Abiclor added.
