SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Mitsubishi Chemical has firmed up plans to shut all its three naphtha crackers in ?xml:namespace>
The 375,000 tonne/year No 1 cracker in Kashima,
Next, the 453,000 tonne/year No 2 cracker would undergo a turnaround for 45 days from end-June to August, the source said.
Mitsubishi Chemical’s 450,000 tonne/year cracker in Mizushima would be taken off line for a month between May and June next year, he added.
At present, the crackers are operating at near 100%, the source said.
