LONDON (ICIS)--The European November paraxylene (PX) contract has been settled at €928/tonne ($1,307/tonne), up €123/tonne from October, sources said on Thursday.
A producer said: “I have not completed everything but, yes, I will follow this number. Demand is good and supply is tight.”
A second producer also confirmed €928/tonne as the contract price.
“We are only following but, yes, I can confirm €928/tonne,” she said.
The settlement was agreed on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis.
