SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Petral, the trading arm of Indonesia’s Pertamina, has awarded an import tender for 600,000 barrels of Azeri Light crude for delivery in January, said a source close to the company on Friday.

Price details were not available.

“The cargo will go to Cilacap,” said the source.

The tender, which closed on 11 Nov, had requested 550,000-950,000 barrels of crude grades such as Rang Dong, Bonny Light, Azeri Light, Tapis, Seria, Champion, Qua Iboe, Kikeh and Escravos for delivery to Balikpapan and Cilacap refineries in Indonesia, traders said.

Previously, Petral purchased around 3.8m barrels of sweet crude for December arrival via two purchase tenders. In the first tender, it bought two 950,000-barrel cargoes of Bonny Light, while in the second tender, two 950,000-barrel cargoes of Saharan Blend and Qua Iboe were purchased, they added.
