SHANGHAI (ICIS)--China-based Jiangsu Sopo Chemical Shareholding Co, a subsidiary of Jiangsu Sopo Group, plans to build an 80,000 tonne/year caustic soda plant in ?xml:namespace>
The environmental impact assessment report for the new plant was recently approved by Zhenjiang Environmental Protection Bureau, according to the disclosure.

Jiangsu Sopo Group is one of China's backbone enterprises producing chemical raw material products, including acetate, polyvinyl chloride (PVC) resin and rubber accelerant.
