US ethanol stocks up 4% along with production gain - EIA

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US fuel ethanol inventories rose by nearly 4% in the week ended 12 November along with an increase in daily production of the biofuel, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday.

Ethanol stocks last week were at 16.7m bbl (701m gal), while daily production rose by 2%, the EIA said in a weekly report.
 
US ethanol production last week averaged 895,000 bbl/day, up from 877,000 bbl/day a week before.

Ethanol output in October averaged 873,000 bbl/day (1.14bn gal), up from 855,500 bbl/day in September.
