Taiwan’s Formosa buys 80,000 tonnes of naphtha for 2nd half of Dec

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan’s Formosa Petrochemical Corp has bought 80,000 tonnes of spot naphtha for delivery in the second half of December, traders said on Thursday.

The cargoes fetched a premium of $2/tonne (€1.47/tonne) to Japan quotes CFR (cost & freight), they added.

Formosa last bought 75,000 tonnes of spot naphtha for delivery in the first half of December at a premium of $2-3/tonne to Japan quotes CFR.
