LONDON (ICIS)--Here is Tuesday’s midday European oil and chemical market summary from ICIS.
CRUDE: January WTI: $81.28/bbl, down $0.46/bbl. January BRENT: $83.41/bbl, down $0.55/bbl
The stronger US dollar and weak equities were placing downward pressure on crude oil futures, which traded in negative territory for most of the morning session.
NAPHTHA: $751-759/tonne, up $4/tonne.
The cargo range edged up from Monday afternoon as crude oil prices rose slightly and the crack spread strengthened. December swaps were assessed at $754-755/tonne
BENZENE: $960-970/tonne, steady
November price ideas were unchanged this morning in a quiet market.
STYRENE: $1,170-1,190/tonne, down $15-25/tonne
November bids and offers were down this morning in a quiet market. There was no firm range for December discussed yet.
