SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Daesan MMA is planning to restart its 40,000 tonne/year polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) line in Daesan, South Korea, on 8 December after it was shut on 18 November for quality-control maintenance, a company source said on Thursday.
The tight availability of feedstock methyl methacrylate (MMA) was also a contributing factor to the plant’s shutdown, added the source.
Daesan MMA is a joint venture (JV) between South Korea's Honam Petrochemical and Japan’s Mitsubishi Rayon Co (MRC).
