Russia raises export duty on petrochemical products

MOSCOW (ICIS)--Russia raised the petrochemical export duty levied on ethylene, propylene, butylene and butadiene on Wednesday, following a decree signed by Prime Minister Vladimir Putin.

From 1 December, the export duty rose to $118.1/tonne (€90.9/tonne), up from $116.4/tonne, according to the decree.

Russia regularly reviews the export duty, which was $57/tonne in 2005.
