This was a 0.7% decrease from the same time a year before, according to the industry association.
Among different resins, the production of epoxy resin showed the highest month-on-month increase of 12% to 16,396 tonnes, but a decrease of 0.8% year on year, based on JPIF’s official data.
The production of fluorine resin fell by 23% from the previous month to 2,257 tonnes, the largest decrease among all resins, but an increase of 38% year on year, the data showed.
