Russia Jan-Oct LPG exports rise 30% year on year

MOSCOW (ICIS)--Russia exported 1.833m tonnes of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) between January and October 2010, a rise of 30% year on year, the Russian Federal Customs Service said on Tuesday.

The country's LPG exports for the period were worth $957m (€718m), which was double the amount in 2009, it added.

Russia's propane exports for the period were up 28% year on year, to 1.211m tonnes.

The main importers of Russian propane were Poland, at 479,200 tonnes, and Turkey with 253,700 tonnes, the service said.
