SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Japan’s Sumitomo Chemical achieved full production at its 180,000 tonne/year caprolactam unit in Ehime prefecture this week after restarting the facility in end-November, a company source said on Wednesday.

The unit has two lines - with capacities of 100,000 tonnes/year and 80,000 tonnes/year - that were shut on 20 October for turnaround.

The plant is located in Japan's northwestern Shikoku region.
