US ethanol inventories fall 4.7% despite production jump - EIA

HOUSTON (ICIS)--US fuel ethanol inventories fell by 4.7% in week ended 3 December despite increased daily production of the biofuel, the US Energy Information Administration (EIA) said on Wednesday.
Ethanol stocks last week were at 16.3m bbl (685m gal) while daily production rose 6.1% to 939,000 bbl/day, the EIA said.
US daily ethanol output in November averaged 887,000 bbl, up by 1.6% from 873,000 bbl/day in October.
