TORONTO (ICIS)--Air Products will build an air separation unit and pipeline at ?xml:namespace>
Air Products said it had been awarded a supply contract by Samsung Mobile Display (SMD), a manufacturer of small and medium displays.
SMD was building a new line in Tanjeong to produce active-matrix organic light emitting diode (AMOLED), an emerging energy-efficient display technology for mobile devices, Air Products said.
Financial, start-up or capacity details were not disclosed.
“This contract is an excellent example of our capability to serve the world's largest electronics customers with our infrastructure, technology advancements and product capacity in place," said Corning Painter, vice president and general manager of the electronics division at Air Products.
