LONDON (ICIS)--Agrium is holding talks with interested parties for the sale of the commodity management businesses of recently acquired AWB, the Canadian fertilizer major said on Tuesday.
“No definitive agreement has been entered into with respect to the sale of the commodity management businesses and accordingly no assurance can be given that any agreement will be entered into, or any sale completed,” Agrium said.
The Australian dollar (A$) 1.24bn ($1.24bn) acquisition of farm supplier AWB was completed earlier this month.
Agrium said it would make no further comment until a sale agreement had been reached or discussions were terminated.
