SAO PAULO (ICIS)--Brazil's petrochemical producer Braskem acquired 224,598 outstanding preferred shares in Quattor, the company said on Thursday.
The volume purchased in the public tender offer makes up roughly 14.5% of the outstanding shares in Quattor.
Braskem paid Brazilian reais (R) 7.91/share, the company said.
Quattor shareholders that disagree with the acquisition of Quattor shares by Braskem could have their stocks refunded at R7.91/share, Braskem said.
Braskem acquired Quattor from Unipar in January.
