Styron to build 50,000 tonne/year S-SBR line in Schkopau, Germany

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Styron said on Monday it will expand its solution styrene butadiene rubber (S-SBR) capacity in
The expansion takes into account the growing demand for high-performance tyres where S-SBR is used, the company said in a statement.
Construction of the new line would start in May 2011, with production expected to start in the fourth quarter of 2012, Styron said.
