Russia January-November PE output up 8.5%

MOSCOW (ICIS)--Russia's polyethylene (PE) output for January-November 2010 rose 8.5% year on year to 1.414m tonnes, Russian statistical agency Rosstat said on Monday.

The country's polypropylene (PP) production for the same period was 12% down to 592,000 tonnes, Rosstat said.

Russia's polyvinyl chloride (PVC) output was up 7% to 540,000 tonnes, while polystyrene (PS) production rose 14% to 285,000 tonnes, the agency said.
