SHANGHAI (ICIS)--Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Co (ZRCC) restarted its 650,000 tonne/year monoethylene glycol (MEG) plant at Ningbo in Zhejiang province last weekend, after it was shut for maintenance, a company source said on Tuesday.

The unit was taken off line on 10 December, together with its 1m tonne/year cracker at the same site.

ZRCC is currently operating the MEG plant at a full rate to fulfill its contract obligations, the source added.
