SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Shenhua Baotou Coal Chemical Co plans to start commercial production at its new coal-to-olefins (CTO) complex in northern ?xml:namespace>

“We have set the date of the commercial production at 1 January. All the plants are running very well currently after recent maintenance,” the source told ICIS, but declined to provide details on the current operating rates of the PP and PE plants.
Shenhua Baotou was scheduled to produce 450,000 tonnes of polyolefins next year, the source said.
