GUANGZHOU (ICIS)--China’s Dalian Carbon Chemical plans to restart its 300,000 tonne/year methanol plant at Dalian in the northeastern province of Liaoning by the middle of January, a company source said on Wednesday.
The plant was taken off line in late November due to technical snags, according to the source.
“If everything goes smoothly, we’ll restart it this weekend,” the source said in Mandarin.
Dalian Carbon Chemical is a subsidiary of Dahua Group.
