SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Honam Petrochemical plans to shut its polyethylene (PE) and polypropylene (PP) plants at Yeosu, South Korea, in early April for a 15-day turnaround, a company source said on Friday.
The maintenance would be carried out at its 380,000 tonne/year PP plant and 370,000 tonne/year high density PE (HDPE) unit, the source said.
Honam is a key exporter of HDPE and PP to China. It also sells PP block copolymer, injection and yarn grades to South America.
