SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Taiwan's Formosa Petrochemical Corp (FPCC) is on track to shut its two residual fluid catalytic crackers (RFCC) in Mailiao for scheduled maintenance this year, a company source said on Thursday.
One RFCC unit, which can produce around 325,000 tonnes/year of propylene, will be taken off line for 40 days starting mid-March.
The other RFCC unit with the same propylene capacity would undergo a 40-day turnaround in June, he added.
