LONDON (ICIS)--Solutia has sold its dithiocarbamates (DTCs) and tetrabenzylthiuram disulfide (TBzTD) businesses to Performance Additives Europe, a subsidiary of Germany-based Behn Meyer Chemical Holding, for $26m (€19m), the ?xml:namespace>
"These divestitures support our strategy to focus on high-value, global market-leading performance materials and specialty chemicals," said Greta Senn, president and general manager of Solutia's Technical Specialties division.
The rubber chemicals DTC and TBzTD are manufactured in
