LONDON (ICIS)--A third European February styrene barge contract has been agreed between one pair of settlers at €1,310/tonne ($1,819/tonne), up €105/tonne from the previous month, the buyer involved said on Wednesday.
According to the buyer, the increase of €105/tonne was primarily driven by higher feedstock costs.
The settlement was made on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis.
Further confirmation from the seller was pending.
($1 = €0.72)
