HOUSTON (ICIS)--US-based industrial gases producer Praxair has agreed to sell its homecare business to Apria Healthcare, the company said on Wednesday.
Terms of the of the agreement were not disclosed.
Praxair should close the sale in the first quarter.
Praxair's homecare business operates from 85 branch locations and serves 27 states.
Praxair will continue to supply the homecare market in other counties, and it will continue to expand its institutional healthcare business throughout the world, it said.
