HOUSTON (ICIS)--ONEOK Partners said it has temporarily shut down its 160,000 bbl/day natural gas liquids (NGL) fractionator at Mont Belvieu, Texas, as a result of the fire that erupted on Tuesday at the nearby Enterprise Products Partners complex.
ONEOK said it shut down the MB-1 unit as a precautionary measure and would “update the status of its operations as warranted”.
The fire started at 12:30 hours Houston time (18:30 hours GMT) at the 305,000 bbl/day Enterprise fractionation plant. The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
