Equatorial Guinea mulls 20,000 bbl/day refinery

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Equatorial Guinea may build a 20,000 bbl/day refinery in Mbini, a contractor said on Thursday.

The refinery would be low complexity, said KBR, which won a government contract to develop a conceptual study for the project. The refinery would serve the local market.

KBR provided no timescale about the project.
