SHANGHAI (ICIS)--Major Taiwan petrochemicals producer, Formosa Plastics Corp (FPC), has ramped up to full production at its 260,000 tonne/year acrylonitrile (ACN) plant in Mailiao after the unit was restarted in late January, a company source said on Tuesday.

The plant, which has two 130,000 tonne/year lines, was taken off line for regular annual maintenance in early January.

“It is running very well now and already reached full rate,” the source said in Mandarin, adding that the plant’s output have always been for captive use.
