Ukraine 2010 polymers and plastics imports rise 33.9% to $2.87bn

MOSCOW (ICIS)--Ukraine's overall imports of polymers and plastics reached $2.87bn (€2.12bn) in 2010, a rise of 33.9% year on year, the Ukrainian State Statistical Committee said on Thursday.

The country imported rubber and resins worth $794m, a year-on-year rise of 52%, the agency said.

Ukraine's total exports of polymers and plastics were worth $512m, a rise of 29.2%, while exports of rubber and resins amounted to $173m, up 3.7%.
