SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Malaysia's Titan Chemicals is operating its two naphtha crackers at 95-100% amid a healthy downstream margin, traders said on Wednesday.
According to an ICIS weekly margin report, northeast Asian integrated low density polyethylene (LDPE) margins rose by $48/tonne (€35/tonne) to their highest since February 2010, supported by a high jump in butadiene prices.
Titan’s 285,000 tonne/year and 435,000 tonne/year naphtha crackers are located at Pasir Gudang in Malaysia's southern Johor state.
