TORONTO (ICIS)--Amyris has appointed Paulo Diniz as CEO of its business in Brazil, the US renewable chemicals company said on Friday.

Diniz joins Amyris from Bunge Brasil, a wholly owned subsidiary of Bunge, where he was chief financial officer (CFO). Before that, he was CFO of Cosan, a large Brazil-based ethanol and renewable products firm.

Paulo brings incredible experience and a deep understanding of the Brazilian renewable products industry to Amyris,” said Amyris CEO John Melo.
