HOUSTON (ICIS)--ConocoPhillips shut down a fluid catalytic cracker (FCC) as a result of an equipment malfunction at its Borger refinery in Texas, the company said in a state regulatory report.
ConocoPhillips reported the shutdown on Friday with the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).
ConocoPhillips could not be reached immediately to comment on the unit's status.
Traders said on Monday there was no impact on the market from the outage mainly because the refinery is in northwest Texas and not the main Gulf coast area.
