HOUSTON (ICIS)--Valero restarted a crude distillation unit on Monday at its 83,000 bbl/day Houston refinery in Texas after a scheduled turnaround, according to market sources.
The turnaround began on 2 February and took two days longer than the expected 24 days of downtime.
In the week ended 18 February, Valero restarted its 30,000 bbl/day hydrocracking unit at the same refinery, spokesman Bill Day said. The hydrocracking unit was shut down on 16 February for maintenance.
