Dow plans turnaround at cracker in Terneuzen, the Netherlands

HOUSTON (ICIS)--Dow Chemical plans to conduct maintenance at a cracker at its complex in Terneuzen in the Netherlands, the company said on Friday.

The turnaround at the LHC1 cracker will last from 11 March to 25 April, the company said.

In February, Dow restarted its No 2 cracker at Terneuzen.

Dow's Terneuzen complex has three crackers with a total ethylene capacity of 1.8m tonnes/year, according to ICIS plants and projects. The complex also produces benzene, butadiene (BD), cumene, ethylene oxide (EO) and polyethylene (PE).
