LONDON (ICIS)--An initial European March paraxylene (PX) contract has settled up by €40/tonne at €1,270/tonne ($1,764/tonne), a producer and consumer said on Monday.
“Yes I can confirm €1,270 is the contract price,” a major PX buyer said. This was also confirmed by the producer.
The settlement was agreed on a free delivered (FD) northwest Europe (NWE) basis. Further confirmation from other market players was pending.
