SINGAPORE (ICIS)--Shell is on track to restart its 800,000 tonne/year mixed-feed cracker in ?xml:namespace>
The cracker was shut for maintenance on 20 February and was earlier slated to resume operations in mid-March, they said.
Some sources, however, said the producer was already in the process of restarting the cracker although this could not be immediately confirmed with company officials.
“We heard that they (Shell) are trying to restart ahead of schedule,” said one source.
