China’s Huizhou MMA runs 90,000 tonne/year plant at full capacity

SINGAPORE (ICIS)--China’s Huizhou MMA, a subsidiary of Mitsubishi Rayon, has been running its 90,000 tonne/year methyl methacrylate (MMA) plant in Guangdong province at 100% since 6 March, a company source said on Friday.

The plant was restarted on 3 March after more than a week of shutdown due to a power failure, the source said.

The unit is due for a week-long maintenance in April, he added.

No dates have been fixed for the shutdown, the source added.
