HOUSTON (ICIS)--Fertilizer-maker Yara will shut down one of its three ammonia plants in Trinidad on 20 March for scheduled maintenance, a source said on Monday.
The Yara Trinidad 300,000 tonne/year plant at Point Lisas would be shut down for 30 days for maintenance, resulting in a loss in production of about 24,500 tonnes of ammonia.
Yara also operates two other ammonia plants at Point Lisas that have a combined capacity of a 1,075,000 tonnes/year.
